HISTORY OF RYLANDS
John Rylands was a successful Manchester entrepreneur. The Rylands Building was built in the 1930’s as a show of prosperity and ambition. Now it is time for the next generation.

KEY HERITAGE FEATURES
Rylands will be sensitively restored to its elegant past, whilst also delivering state-of-the-art office, retail and leisure space.
Building Exterior
The beautiful Portland stone façade will be fully restored.
The Rylands Clock
The iconic Rylands clock will look over Market Street for another 100 years.
Windows
Heritage stained glass windows have been meticulously restored and replicated by master craftsmen.
Character Space
Characterful roof lights will flood some of the largest floorplates in Manchester with natural light. Rylands will offer character-filled offices with all the requirements of a modern workspace.
Iconic Entrances
The original main entrance will be restored to its former glory, featuring original heritage art deco design.
Heritage Cupolas
The incredible heritage cupolas will be restored to offer a one-of-a-kind workspace.
The Boardroom
The historic Rylands boardroom will be transformed into a stunning executive suite with truly unique character.
